Bungee Jumping – for the adventurous tourists in Cyprus, bungee jumping is available in Ayia Napa. It conforms to the Australian and New Zealand safety standards.

Watersports – Eastern Cyprus is one of the best areas on the Island for fabulous watersports. Take part in Paragliding, water ski-ing, hire a speedboat or jet-ski, even try out a flying fish!  The list is endless and so are the fantastic golden beaches with watersport facilities.



Golfing – Cyprus is fast becoming a favourite with many golfing travellers, due to an improvement in facilities, and of course, its superb all-year round climate.  There are several golf schools, golf development classes and academies, in many locations of Cyprus, to help you improve your game.  It is rumoured that there are several ‘new’ top quality golf courses to be built on the Eastern Coast of Cyprus – between Larnaca and Protaras.

Go-Karting – There are many go-karting centres in Cyprus. An excellent one being located next to the Waterpark at Ayia Napa. Most of these centres are open 7 days a week.

Diving – Warm seas, clear water and year-round sunshine ensure that diving in Cyprus remains a popular pastime. The varied nature of the dive sites as well as the lack of tides and currents means that both beginners and more experienced divers can enjoy the experience. There is plenty of underwater life and a huge variety of fish. Not forgetting the famous dive wreck of the Zenobia, located off the coast of Larnaca.



Fishing – Cyprus has many lakes and dams for both fly and course fishing.  Not forgetting the most popular form of fishing here along all the coasts, which is Sea Fishing.  Most lakes are subject to a fishing permit. These are relatively inexpensive and can be purchased from most fishing and sports shops.

Cycling -  Escape the cold winter months in UK and Northern Europe and go cycling in the sunny climate of Cyprus, including Mountain Biking and Road Biking. Cyprus offers serious cycle training or more recreational cycling, where you can take in all the wonderful views on the Island. 



Ski-ing and Snowboarding: Troodos Mountains – Experience Cyprus in the winter months of January to March. There is often fantastic skiing and snowboarding on Mount Olympus, in the beautiful Troodos Mountains. From the snowy mountains, to the sunny beaches, all in one day!!



Protaras Beaches

Fig Tree Bay - This beach is the most popular within Protaras Beach . The British christened it ‘Fig Tree Bay’ and the name was given after the single fig tree that stands back from the beach and is claimed to have been brought from the east in the 17th century. The beach has fine-grained sand, the sea is crystal clear and there are plenty of recreational facilities like water-skiing, paragliding, jet-skis and more.

Konnos Bay - A secluded little beach at the foot of a rocky climb, Konnos Beach is located around 2km north of Cape Greko. Konnos is amongst Cyprus’ most picturesque beaches with fine golden sands and beautifull crystal clear waters. For the more active, a variety of water sports can be enjoyed, with paragliding, waterskiing, motor boating and jet skiing

Green Bay Beach - To avoid the crowds, visit this beach. The beach offers a good swimming spot and provides umbrellas and sunloungers to rent. An ideal place to avoid the summer crowds, Green Bay beach is located to the south of Protaras beach. Sun loungers and parasols available to hire, it isa great place for a leisurely swim. 

Louma Beach - Close to the resort of Pernera, Louma is a popular sandy beach just north of the main Protaras strip. The beach has good facilities, with sun beds and parasols available to hire and a variety of water sports to try including banana boat rides, waterskiing and paragliding. 

Pernera Beach - Surrounded by an assortment of restaurants and tavernas, Pernera P is a Blue Flag accredited beach located on the northern border of Protaras. Sun beds and parasols are available to hire and a variety of water sports can be enjoyed. 


Ayia Napa Beaches

Macronissos Beach - Several small bays forms Macronissos Beach. The three bays stretch out in different directions and give very well l sheltered beach areas. This beach is the closest to Waterworld Waterpark, just outside Ayia Napa.

Landa Beach - A 300 meters long beach is found in between Macronissos beach and Nissi Bay - only 500 meters away from each beach. Fabulous little Bay, crystal clear water and very good cafe bars. Sunbeds and parasols for hire. No watersports

Nissi Beach / Nissi Bay - Only three kilometers west of Ayia Napa. These closely connected twin beaches attract thousands of tourists every year. Nissi, which in Greek means a small island, gives a new dimension to the beauty of the landscape. The beaches are well sheltered and offer an abundance of watersports for every taste. There are also plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants in the area. Plenty of watersports available

Sandy Bay - Sandy Bay Beach is found 400 yards or so east of Nissi Bay. The beach is also fully protected from winds. Facilities for watersport are provided together with lots of restaurants and tavernas.

 Limnara Beach - About four kilometres east of Agia Napa you will find Limnara Beach. Although it is small it is one of the loveliest beaches, and is well-protected from the wind. 

Konnos Beach - This wonderful sandy strip of beach is situated two kilometres east of Ayia Napa on the road between Cape Greco and Protaras. It's one of the most picturesque beaches on the island, well sheltered from the prevailing winds. You can try plenty of water sports, including water ski-iong, paragliding, hire a motorboat, or you can hire a jet ski.
